THE PROGRAM

European talent.
Bay Area innovation.

START goes Bay Area is a nonprofit international exchange program organized by START Munich. Each March, participants spend two weeks in San Francisco exploring the Bay Area’s technology and innovation ecosystem.

Through visits to startups, venture capital firms, research institutions, and innovation hubs, the program creates space for candid conversations with the people behind them. Its purpose is to exchange ideas, understand how companies are built, and develop lasting connections.

THE PARTICIPANTS

Twenty selected talents.
Two weeks in the Bay Area.

Twenty students are selected from the START Network for their entrepreneurial ambition and curiosity. They bring perspectives from business, engineering, computer science, and other disciplines, united by an interest in building companies and solving meaningful problems.

Each participant has passed two competitive selections: first into the START community, then into START goes Bay Area. They arrive ready to ask thoughtful questions, contribute their own perspectives, and learn from founders, researchers, investors, and one another.
